Where in the world is Casa de Flora?
Casa de Flora is a one hour drive north of Puerto Vallarta, located in the seaside town of Los Ayala, México.

How do you get to Los Ayala?
Fly into Puerto Vallarta (PVR is airport code). From the airport you have several options:

• One of the simplest ways is to make arrangements to be met at the airport by a private driver for about $60.00.
• You can take a bus, taxi or rent a car to travel north about 1 hour via route 200.
• The Central Bus Station is 5 minutes north of the airport where you can get a 1st class Primera Plus bus that stops in La Peñita (commercial town 10 minutes north of Los Ayala) or the local Pacifica bus that runs more often and is tourist class also stopping in La Peñita.
• From La Peñita you can take a cab for about 40 pesos ($4.00) to Av del Estero in Los Ayala!

Where do I change money?
The simplest is to change money at the airport. They give you the best exchange rates.

What's the power voltage? Do I need a converter?
The power is the same as in the US. You will not need anything special to operate usual electronic devices.

What is there to do?
This part of México offers hiking, bird watching, sunbathing, swimming, and simply...authentic México!

Do you have laundry facilities?
Yes.

What about food?
There are local restaurants and we have a kitchen you can use if you prefer to cook at home.

Can I drink the water?
Casa de Flora will provide bottled drinking water as it is not recommended to drink from the tap.

Do you have snorkeling equipment?
We do not have snorkeling equipment. You may buy it in town for a very affordable price.

Beach mats?
We have mats or you may decide to buy them from the local vendors.

Towels?
We provide towels.

Is there internet access?
There is a nice internet cafe which is walking distance from the house. They also serve a yummy smoothie.

Will credit cards work in the restaurants?
Yes...at some!
